The
prevailing work space culture dissociate ‘life’ from daily time-stretch of a
city dweller, but thoughtful design approach and successive improvisation of
urban private-public place practice can merge a building with the whole city
fabric and can emerge as a part of people’s daily life. In addition, a densely
populated developing country where building design needs incorporation of
economic considerations, maximization of opportunities can be a key design
strategy.
Located in
the seam of two major public parks, the building requires to turn into a merger
between the two by retaining the civic permeability and by offering public
amenities, which as a consequence will elevate the intrinsic design value. IEB
being the powerhouse of people who run the wheels of all the developing sectors
of this country, deserves this establishment to stand as a bold emblem that
will express and preach the gravity, action of themselves as well as the spirit
of national identity.
